SHALBY HOSPITALS, India is a Multi-specialty Tertiary Hospitals chain, headquartered in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. Established in 1994 as a Joint Replacement Centre by the renowned Joint Replacement Surgeon, Dr. Vikram I. Shah, Shalby Hospitals today has 11 hospitals to its fold, spread across the Western and Central India. Shalby hospitals are based in cities- Ahmedabad (4 hospitals), Surat, Vapi( South Gujarat), Jaipur( Rajasthan), Indore and Jabalpur (Madhya Pradesh), Goa and Mohali (Punjab). The total bed capacity of the group today exceeds 2000 and maintaining its exponential growth trend, the bed capacity is to cross 2500 in the near future. Shalby has an integrated Clinical Research Unit at our hospital and we would like to expand our Clinical Research activities. We have an OPD of around 4,000 patients per month which is inclusive of indications like Orthopaedics, Rheumatology, Dental, Diabetology, Oncology, Gastroenterology, Dermatology, Ophthalmology, Pulmonology, Endocrine, Gynaecology, Neurology, Cardiology, Critical Care, ENT, Medical Device, Spine Surgery and General Medicine. The staff at the Clinical Research Unit includes CRCs, Sr. CRCs, Executive, Sr. Executives and Project Co-ordinators who are well trained in GCP and other aspects of Clinical Trials. All Doctors of Shalby Hospitals are well trained and certified on GCP.
