Dr. Bharat Gajjar is working in Shalby Hospital as a Sr Arthroplasty Doctor & Director of Outpatient Services Worldwide.

He is the first associate of Dr. Vikram I. Shah since 1993. He is part of the team which pioneered world-class Joint Replacement surgery in Ahmedabad. He did his Medicine from the famous B.J. Medical College, Ahmedabad in 1981. He has been regularly visiting OPDs’ of Shalby Clinics at Surat, Mumbai (Marine Drive), Udaipur and Indore across India. He was also invited by Bangladesh Government as part of a Business delegation on behalf of Govt. of India.

Dr. Gajjar’s role in the delegation was to identify the scope of Medical Tourism in Bangladesh. He also participates in the Corporate Social Responsibilities activities (Free Camps for mass awareness and CME’s for doctors) organized regularly by Shalby Hospitals. He has also been part of the healthcare delegation of Gujarat’s Chief Minister Narendra Modi which visited several countries in Africa in 2009.

He was also part of the team which pioneer in establishing Shalby clinics and operating the same not only in India also in the Middle East and the African continent as a whole.
